Muscle pain is the primary reason for booking an appointment with an osteopath. Many
people lead a sedentary lifestyle with extended time spent at the computer or in
a car. This can put strain on the back, neck and shoulders, causing aches and pains.
In this instance, osteopathic techniques and posture advice would be used to relieve
the pain. Osteopathy is also used to help relieve pain from minor sports injury,
back and neck pain, shoulder and arm pain, and some types of headaches.
Osteopathy may also be useful in the treatment of Osteoarthritis, non angina chest
pain, as well as hip, knee and ankle problems both on a short and long term basis.
Appointments are available both via GP referral or on a self-referral basis.
